BEC Tine
Tine Bec (b. 1993) finished his high school education of Music theory in 2012 at the Conservatory of Music and Ballet Ljubljana (class of prof. Črt Sojar Voglar). In 2014 he also finished his piano studies (prof. Irena Koblar and prof. Damjana Cvetko). He finished his Bachelor's (2016) and Masters Degree (2018) in Composition and Music Theory in the class of prof. Jani Golob. For his success in music, he received the Škerjanc prize of the Conservatory of Music and Ballet. He is best known for his choral works, which are starting to be performed worldwide. At the conservatory, he also studied singing with prof. Edita Garčević Koželj. He was a singer and pianist in the vocal-instrumental group Ridiamo. He was also an assistant of Slovene composer and conductor Ambrož Čopi in the Conservatory of Music and Ballet Chamber Choir and also of Slovene conductor maestro Stojan Kuret in the male choir Vocal academy Ljubljana. He is the conductor of Zvon mixed choir and the artistic director of Octet Jurij Dalmatin. He also leads two female vocal groups. He collaborates with a lot of Slovenian choirs as an accompanist, vocal coach orcomposer.
