PRIMOŽIČ Vito
Vito Primožič (born 1961, Kranj, Slovenia) graduated from the Faculty of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy - majoring in Architecture with prof. Niko Kralj (1989) while working already as an independent music-engraver durig his study years. After studies completed, in 1990 he opened independent office in the Republic of Austria (1990-6) for music engraving services (setting & editing music manuscripts for printing). During this time he was a collaborator for choral engraving with the publishing houses Bärenreiter-Verlag from Kassel, Schott-Verlag from Mainz, Carus-Verlag from Stuttgart (all Germany) and Doblinger-Verlag from Vienna. He has completed over 350 musuc engraving opuses (with prints outside Slovenia), including projects from scientific / scholary critical editions: Monumenta monodica Mediiaevi, Das Deutsche Kirchenlied, Das Erbe deutscher Musik, Heinrich Schütz Neue Gesamtausgabe, Hector Berlioz Gesamtausgabe, etc. He has also worked as a music engraver in Slovenia for clients of journals "Naši zbori" (Our Choirs) and "Cerveni glasbenik" (Church Musician). In 1993 he founded the music publishing label ASTRUM Music Publications, which is still active today.
