JAŠOVEC Uršula
Uršula Jašovec (b. 1986) got acquainted with the piano playing at the Kamnik Music School under the mentorship of prof. Martina Golob-Bohte, continued her education at the Music Conservatory in Ljubljana, where she finished her musical teory studies in the class of prof. Janez Osredkar. She graduated from the Academy of Music with a degree in Music Pedagogy and a Master's Degree with Summa Cum Laude distinction in the class of prof. Pavel Mihelčič in composition and music theory. In the class of prof. Egon Bajd she gained singing skills and in the class of prof. Mario Perestegi perfected herself in the organ play.
She works as a music educator, organist, conductor and composer. She is the recipient of several awards, the organizer of seven major music projects, the author of more than 60 original songs, over 100 arrangements with numerous performances. As a composer and performer at the piano, her music has been performed in the GML, EPK Maribor, Europa Cantat, Ljubljana Choirs event, Our Song (Naša pesem) Maribor, Zagorje Youth Choirs Festival, Fens Festival, Brinjevka Festival, World Music Days, Studio 14, Cankar's home, performed by Slovenian Philharmonic Orchestra, RTV Slovenia Orchestra in Maribor Union Hall, Magistrat, Križanke, Casino Hall (all Ljubljana), Kotor Art Festival, Inédits d'orgue and other tages, among others in Italy, Croatia, Canada, Montenegro, Austria, etc.
