ČADEŽ Vid

ČADEŽ Vid (born 1998) after completing the piano and percussion programs at the Vrhnika School of Music, enrolled in the Academy of Music in Ljubljana in 2018, majoring in Music Pedagogy.
The already existing interest in arranging and composing only intensified during his education, when he collaborated with Tinet Bec and Jaka Pucihar, which led to commissions for the first compositions intended for the Ljubljana Vocal Academy and the Children's Choir of Alojzij Šuštar Elementary School, both of which the conductor is Tine Bec. He concludes his studies at the Academy of Music with a master's thesis in which, under the mentorship of Jaka and Ilonka Pucihar, he wrote, among other things, two arrangements of pieces from the musical Aladdin, adapted for the students of the Vrhnika School of Music - Horjul department. In addition to his involvement in composing and arranging, he is a long-term member of the Mixed and Male Choir of the Ljubljana Vocal Academy, where he also works as an assistant and accompanist, and as an instrumentalist (percussion, piano) he is a member of the Vrhnik Wind Orchestra and the Vrhnik Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Marko Fabiani.
He works as a music pedagogue and choir director at the Maks Pečar Primary School and as a jazz piano teacher at the Matija Tomc Music School.
