ABOUT / FOR:

Composers who are citizens of the Republic of Slovenia, Slovenes living abroad and foreign citizens studying in Slovenia can apply for the competition.
There is no age limit.

JURY & CRITERIA:

- Ambrož Čopi (president)
- Črt Sojar Voglar (member)
- Andrej Makor (member)
 
CRITERIA: 
- connection of music with lyrics,
- choice and appropriateness of the text,
- singing ranges and voice guidance,
- artistic impression.
The composers will be notified of the jury's decision by e-mail in the first half of December 2020.

AWARDS:

1st prize: EUR 500, plaque and first performance with MePZ Obala Koper in the concert season 2020/2021.
2nd prize: 300 EUR, plaque and first performance with MePZ Obala Koper in the concert season 2020/2021.
3rd prize: 250 EUR, plaque and first performance with MePZ Obala Koper in the concert season 2020/2021.
In addition, the organizer, in cooperation with the Astrum Music Publications, offers the winners the opportunity to publish the song.
The organizer and the expert jury reserve the right not to award all prizes and to award additional special prizes at their own discretion.
