POVH TAMARA (b. 1977) is an academic musician, pianist, graduated in 2000 from the Academy of Music in Zagreb, in the class of Professor Hari Gusek. She has worked with numerous soloists and choirs, is a member of the duo, trio and quartet Con spirito and the Sway quintet, and has performed at numerous concerts at home and abroad. She has been active as a piano teacher and accompanist at the Celje Music School since 2001. She has participated in numerous competitions in Slovenia and abroad as a mentor and accompanist. Since 2008, her interest in music has outgrown classical frames and expanded to other areas of music such as rock, ethno and world music. She has acted and continues to be a member of several bands such as New Creatives, Nidjavale, Djembabe, Sory Diabate & New Tribe, Maribum Afriqui ... She has been training in playing African bass drums in recent years. She wrote some piano accompaniments for children's songs, lyrics by Feri Lainšček, music by Milan Ostojić, arrangement by Marjan Povh.
